Daily Run 12/2/2011
Coldest temperature during a run so far, 33 degrees. It was an interesting to run through the neighborhoods and see all the damage that was caused by the storm. We still have some neighborhoods without power. I was feeling a little sluggish today. I don’t know if it was because I didn’t run yesterday or all the hard work removing the downed trees? Oh well either way I was able...

A run before the storm
It was nice to run outside again this week.  They say a big storm is rolling in tonight so I’m not sure when the next time I will be able to run outside.  It was only 37 degrees but it felt good once I got a mile or two into the run.  I couldn’t find my gloves today so I just bundled my hands into the sleeves of my shirt and I was good to go.  I got a little bit closer to my year end...

Tim Tebow responds to Jake Plummer's comments on...
This story is a week old but I just had to post it.  I’m a big Tebow fan and have been since he was with Florida.  If you believe in something you should be proud of it and not be afraid to stand up for what you believe.   A day after former Broncos QB Jake Plummer said in a radio interview that he wished the man currently taking the snaps in Denver, Tim Tebow, would curb his...

4.62 mile treadmill day
Today I started out with a bicep workout.  It probably wasn’t the best of workouts and if anyone has suggestions please feel free to let me in on your secrets.  I followed this up with a 4.62 mile run on the treadmill.  I did it in 42 minutes with a pace just over nine minutes.  I don’t know about the rest of you but I get bored really quick on the treadmill.  I have problems keeping...

7.06 miles closer to year end goal
I made my 10k goal for today.  Today was nice. It was a bit cool(36 degrees) but I had a good warm outer layer and gloves. About mile four I didn’t think that I was going to make six miles. Then when I made six i was feeling pretty good and thought I would push it and do seven.  Total of 7.06 miles in 1hr 2min 8:43 pace.  Not too bad.  If I can keep this up I will make my goal.

365 miles in 2011
Earlier in the year when I was running consistently I set a goal to run 365 miles in 2011.  So far this year I have ran a total of 242.53 miles.  If I take one day off a week as a rest day I will have 30 days left to complete this goal.  This means that I must run a minimum of 4.1 miles a day.  I think this is possible and I am going to go after this goal.  I will keep you updated with my ...
